Russia

Russia said Sunday it downed dozens of Ukrainian drones over night in a barrage that damaged homes and set off air alerts.Videos posted on social media appeared to reveal distant explosions in the southern Rostov area, while an air raid siren might be heard in the background.
During the previous night, 61 Ukrainian unmanned aerial cars were destroyed by air defences, the Russian defence ministry stated, including most were intercepted over regions near the Ukrainian border.Four airports quickly suspended traffic early Sunday for security reasons, requiring at least 8 airplanes to divert course, a spokesperson for Russias civil air travel authority Rosaviatsia said.In the port city of Taganrog and surrounding area, falling debris from downed drones damaged civilian property, according to local Rostov area governor Yuri Slyusar.
Windows were broken, roofings and walls of property houses were harmed, cars and trucks were also affected, he said.Moscow and Kyiv have exchanged almost day-to-day drone attacks through the almost three-year conflict, destructive civilian locations far from the frontline and diminishing each others air defences. The Ukrainian flying force stated Russia sent out 103 drones into its area, 61 of which were shot down while 42 were decoys .
Several personal homes were harmed in the Kharkiv area as an outcome of the fall of a damaged attack drone, it said.Three people were wounded in the northeast Kharkiv region as a result of the attack, while 4 buildings were damaged, regional prosecutors stated.
